It’s been awhile since I posted regarding this project. I’m so close to finishing the coloring on the pages! I’ve been concentrating on keeping my head down and focusing on getting the work done. Every month I do a dump of the pages to show my editor, and she’s happy …
I just found out that Jessi Sheron has been assigned as the artist for the Ever After High: Class of Classics graphic novel I wrote. Talk about a dream come true, I love her art!
I’m really happy with how this barn interior came out.
I’m officially at the halfway point with the inks!
I’m going to tighten up the backgrounds in the top and bottom panel, but I’m pretty happy with how these came out …
Pretty happy with how this page is turning out.
I finished the script for the Champion graphic novel and turned it in yesterday! WHOOT!!! Now it’s back to Little Witches full …
Finishing up this project – on the homestretch now! Should be done in a few days.
Robin Herrera at Oni Press has acquired world rights to the middle grade graphic novel Little Witches: Magic in Concord by Leigh Dragoon. A retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, the graphic novel follows Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy as witches-in-training. When Mr. Laurence, a witchfinder, moves in next door with his grandson to investigate renegade magic, the girls get caught up in the action. Publication is scheduled for 2018.
Yay, I just have to tighten up some of the linework a little bit and I’m done!
I’m really happy with how this is turning out!
